Returning to her home province after years in Ontario, Dr. Guest has been practicing full-time veterinary medicine for 22+ years.
She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Atlantic Veterinary College, Charlottetown, PEI in 1996, preceded by a Bachelor of Science degree from Acadia University, Wolfville, NS in 1992.
Having grown up in Bakers Settlement, Dr. Guest has deep roots to the South Shore and recently settled in Petite Rivière. She purchased the building at 15 Petite Rivière Road, previously known as “Second Chances,” where she will launch her second Veterinary practice. Although she refers to herself as “just a local girl,” Dr. Guest is a globally diverse thinker and visionary. She brings a wealth of expertise not only in the Veterinary practicum, but has a keen business sense and entrepreneurial nature. She has a strong work ethic that comes from a central core of empathy and dedication to relieving animal distress. Petite Pet Hospital’s mission statement is to “keep animal companions happy, healthy and pain-free for as long as possible”.
